Qeqqata Kommunia - min arbejdsplads frem til sommerferien - er meget ambitiøs på miljøområdet. Det handler med et moderne ord om bæredygtighed, der gerne skal afspejle alle beslutninger.

Blandt andet går man meget ind i affaldssortering og genbrug - og genbruget er faktisk ganske vidtstrakt. For eksempel genbruger man gamle brandsslukkere som askebægre rundt omkring i byen, så man dels får anvendt de tomme beholdere til noget fornuftigt - og dels får lidt færre filterskodder at feje op, når sneen smelter.

Jeg må også indrømme, at det bestemt taler til min humoristiske sans, at man bruger ildslukkere som askebægre - det virker ganske velovervejet...
