Nordlys

Så er det weekend og tid til at rode rundt om natten...

Vi har de seneste dage haft et fantastisk nordlys her i Sisimiut, men det er altså også rigeligt koldt om natten. Alligevel trodsede jeg mageligheden og stod op kl. 4 lørdag morgen for at gå ud til nærmeste udkigspunkt. Termometeret stod på minus 21, men iført lange underbukser mm blev det til halvanden time og cirka 120 eksponeringer, indtil morgenlyset meldte sig i øst.

Ofte er nordlyset bare nogle diffuse lysegrønne skyer, men denne morgen bød på rigtigt tegneserie-nordlys; altså høje, flagrende gardinagtige bølger af pulserende lys. Det var flot og fotogent, så her følger endnu en stribe nordlys-fotos...
